The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for students who want to study medicine or dentistry after Class 12 will be held on May 4, 2025. This is one of the most important exams in India for getting admission into courses like MBBS, BDS, and other medical programs in both government and private colleges. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and will be held in the usual pen and paper format.
The NEET 2025 exam will start at 2:00 PM and end at 5:00 PM, giving students three hours to complete it. The question paper will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The questions will be based on the Class 11 and 12 NCERT syllabus.
Students will be able to download their admit cards on May 1, 2025, from the official NEET website. To get the admit card, students need to log in using their registration details. The admit card will have important information like the student’s name, roll number, exam center address, and instructions for the exam day. Students must carry their admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam center, or they will not be allowed to take the exam.
The results of the exam are expected to be announced on June 14, 2025. Students can check their results online on the NEET website. The result will show how much they scored in each subject, their total marks, percentile rank, and whether they have qualified. These scores will be used for admission in both national and state-level medical counseling.
While the exam is currently scheduled for May 4, the NTA may change the date or add extra dates if needed for special reasons. So, it is very important for students to keep checking the official NEET website for the latest updates or any changes in the schedule.
Since lakhs of students appear for NEET every year, the competition is very high. Students should start preparing early, revise regularly, and practice with mock tests and past papers. This will help them manage time better and improve their performance.
For the latest news and updates, always visit the official NEET website and follow announcements from the NTA.
